Find quick answers to common questions about our boat lifts, installation, and service.
How often do I need to service my lift?
A: It is recommended that you service your lift every season. An annual service makes sure that the pump, hoses, pins and frame are all in working order. Contact us for details.
My solar panel is not working it does not charge the battery.
A: To check the wattage on the solar panel, a healthy solar panel will output between 16-22 watts. If there is no reading, please contact us, the panel would need to be replaced.
I keep losing my remote signal (Limited Range), and I need to keep reconnecting it to my unit.
A: Reposition antenna away from electric motor or any metal inside box. Try touching transmitter to your chin while operating (yes, it works!)
Lift is not working after I just got a new replacement battery.
A: Check your battery connection, press Power Button on control box, check fuse in hydraulic pump wire harness and check battery voltage – a 12.8v-14.5v reading is a sign of a healthy battery. While being tested press the ‘up’ or ‘down’ button. If the battery drops below 10v, it is failing the load test and will need to be replaced. Our factory standard is a 12v Group 27 Deep Cycle Marine Battery.
How can I clean my FloatLift?
A: To clean your floatlift a heavy bristle brush is recommended for algae growth. For heavier growth such as barnacles, a scraper will work fine.
My SunLift is stuck on up position.
A: Check the fluid level. It should be 1/3 to 1/2 full. Note: For SunLift customers with an RC308 & 401 unit may be able to depressurize the system (See instructions below). For SunLift customers without this function, please contact us.
